Following the success of the introduction of our award-winning MCOne, Interphex 2011 New York saw the launch of Dec’s new fourth generation of patented jet mills MicroJet, including the launch of the world’s smallest fully functioning jet mill, the DEC MicroJet 10.
The launch of the DEC MicroJet 10 now completes our research and development range of jet mills, allows for nano quantities of between 50mg – 1,500mg to be micronized and is the perfect tool for new chemical entity (NCE) development.
The monoblock design uses single pass technology to allow the particle size curve to be easily manipulated with minimum loss of material and increased product residence time allowing improved particle size reduction.
The performance can then be scaled throughout both the complete MCJetmill® and the DEC MicroJet range. This design, developed through extensive use of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) engineering, is part of the new fourth-generation jet mills. DEC MicroJet series is a breakthrough in understanding and performance.
The system is further enhanced with the use of the ‘Rota Feed System’ and innovative inbuilt venturi feed nozzle which conveys the product directly into the MicroJet, unlike other micronizing technologies.
Easy conversion for MCOne users
For existing MCOne owners, the DEC Micro-Jet 10 is completely interchangeable with our MCOne as it has been designed to be integrated into the same body and pressure regulation set as supplied with the MCOne.
