G-CON is pleased to announce completion of CE Mark approval testing for autonomous cleanroom PODs.
The autonomous PODs, a truly flexible platform for cleanroom design, are now available for sale in Europe.
Driven by the high level of interest in PODs from European countries, G-CON began pursuing CE Mark certification in the fourth quarter of 2014.
G-CON retained Technology International, a notified body, to conduct required tests to EU standards.
Testing was conducted successfully with acceptable results, demonstrating the conformity of PODs to European standards.
CE Marking represents a benchmark in the quality of G-CON’s product portfolio, and allows for the delivery and circulation of PODs in EU countries, and other countries worldwide.
G-CON manufacturing vice-president Troy Arledge said: "From the beginning of our existence, we have had a lot of interest from the European market.
"With efficient operations, management and sales support in place in the US, and growing sales in the US, we are now taking steps to pursue the fast growing European market."
